ROCHESTER — Starting this fall, Roberts Wesleyan College will launch a new Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing program, intentionally designed for mature students 20 and older who have an associate’s degree or at least 60 transferable credits. . The program has been approved by the New York State Department of Education and will expand Roberts Wesleyan’s curriculum and corporate courses.
Here are some highlights of the new program:
- Opportunity to complete the degree in as little as one year with part-time and full-time flexibility.
- Online and blended learning options accessible.
- A course without exams.
- Built-in HubSpot certification.
Emphasizing a holistic learning approach and enhancing technical and soft skills, the program will prepare students to excel in roles of entrepreneur, small business owner, corporate marketing positions related to advertising, analytics, marketing strategy and more. Through a creative and ethical lens, students will study consumer behavior, the challenges faced by marketers, and develop critical thinking skills to succeed in today’s business environment.
While taking their courses, students will also earn industry certifications built into the curriculum from relevant business development and marketing platforms, such as HubSpot Academy. Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared to pursue career paths in advertising, product marketing, public relations, promotions, business development and more.
